Being involved with the Torbay and Devon Civic Award is both rewarding and interesting. Hopefully those who helped with our gardening and painting projects will be inspired to continue supporting local voluntary community groups as they progress into adulthood.
The scarecrow festivals are great successes with the whole community getting involved from local residents, children and adults, shop keepers, businesses and residential homes, all of whom were keen to join in the fun.
